Julie Snowdon

Julie Snowdon joined Pringle and Associates in 2006 as an articling student,
after obtaining her law degree with distinction from the University of
Alberta in 2005.
During law school, Julie was the recipient of the Juris Radze Memorial
scholarship for criminal law classes, the Alumni Council Undergraduate
scholarship for academic excellence and contribution to the University
community, and a T4K Leadership scholarship.
She was also the winner of the Coughlin Trial advocacy moot, and
was selected to represent the University of Alberta at the MacIntyre Cup
moot.
While attending law school, Julie was extensively
involved in student activities. She
was a writer and director of the law show, and she co-ordinated the
criminal law project of Student Legal Services.
Her work with Student Legal Services provided her with the
opportunity to run numerous criminal and traffic trials, and to conduct
sentencings. Julie has
appeared in both the Provincial Court and the Court of Queen’s Bench.
Julie has participated in a number of theatre
festivals as a playwright. Her
work has been staged in Edmonton and in the UK.
